Talking About KC Coffee Co.
So what’s the story of KC Coffee Co.? It was started in 2016, by Jason Barrett, out of a desire to develop great coffee through a small batch roasting process. We sell roasted coffee beans and ground coffee that you will love to drink.
Our approach is to have fun with our company, ourselves, and our coffee. We hope you will do the same when you drink it.
Coffee is made to be enjoyed. It is made to pick you up, to keep you going, to enjoy with a friend, or to sip while you relax. We want you to have the best possible coffee when you decide to do those things.
Our small batch approach provides you with great coffee, that is quality controlled, and loved from the very beginning. The variety is there to experience as well. Why should anyone be forced into one type of coffee to drink? That’s just cruel. Experience all that coffee has to offer. Let us help.
Update from 11/26/2018
If I get asked about KC Coffee Co. once a week, it would be a little light on the asking. KC Coffee Co. has been one of my favorite ideas (apparently yours too) and one of my favorite hobbies. Even when I am working on something else, I’m drinking coffee. I am actually not drinking any right now, because I just finished a double espresso and I can’t get any more out of the cup!
That brings us to day’s update of the “Our Story” page. It’s time for a little more effort in the coffee business. I am working to make KC Coffee Co. a crazy success. The key is determining what success looks like, so I will know it when I see it.
As it stands right now, look for new product offerings, updates to the brand, awesome merch (my opinion, but it matters here), and partnerships with other cool coffee companies (and other companies) in Kansas City. It’s going to be fun!
Update from 3/4/2020
As usual, life happens. I have had KC Coffee Co. on the back burner for a little while now. My main job is CEO of Go Local Interactive. Feel free to check us out. Those responsibilities make Kansas City’s coffee company have to wait.
So now for the update. As time has become slightly more available, I am turning back to coffee. That, of course, has layered meaning. In this case, it means that we will be working on updating KC Coffee Co. and its direction. As it stands right now, I think we will move to more of a coffee marketplace structure. We will find and sell the best coffee we can possibly find. My hope is to build out the catalog of offerings and make it great to do business with us. In the future, if you want great coffee, then you will want to look here first.
Wish us luck!
Jason
