Coffee in the Morning: The Morning Coffee Routine
Is there a better way to start your day than to have a warm cup of coffee? I don’t think so. So do you have your own morning coffee routine? I do. But first…
I remember being a kid and my grandparents would always start their day with coffee. Back then, I didn’t like it. I loved the smell, but I didn’t like the taste. Times have changed. Anyway, my grandpa would set out two cups of coffee each night, so they would be ready to go in the morning. They were meant to be room temperature. My grandma would set the timer on the coffee pot before going to bed and the coffee would be ready when she walked into the kitchen.
That brings us to my routine. The first thing I make each morning is coffee. I have even morphed it into a breakfast combo. I get up, get dressed, brush my teeth, and head to the kitchen to start the coffee.
I’m not sure what you use to make your coffee, but I use a Ninja Coffee Bar® System. I refill the water, dump the grounds from the last run, refill it with fresh grounds, and hit go.
While the coffee is brewing, I start work on the ingredients for my bulletproof coffee. Hemp hearts, cacao butter, coconut oil, and collagen get measured into the cup. Once the coffee is done, I pour it in too. The blender takes care of the rest.
Pouring that mixed collection of goodness is one of the earliest pleasures of my day. I love it. Once I have that cup, I am off and running.
