We Drink Coffee Because…

I stumbled upon this partially finished post today and thought I would see it through to completion. The gist of it is this. Why do we drink coffee?

There are so many good reasons I can think of and so I thought I would share them with you and see what you think.

Reasons to Drink Coffee

• The taste
• To stay awake
• To make it through the day
• It started when I was in the war
• To act interested in our boss
• To seem aware
• It was in the cup
• To keep it together
• To belong
• The party didn’t start until late in the day
• To push off the wine to later
• To nail an exam
• Sometimes I think I drink coffee to stain my clothes
• To freshen our breath 😉
• Our parents drank it
• To be cool
• It was all there was to drink
• I’m not really into tea
• I don’t want the sugar in soda
• For the love of coffee shops
